Melbourne Liberty Bell Museum and America’s 250th
250 years ago, 56 men declared that their states were independent from Great Britain, established the United States of America, and set forth on the American Experiment. On July 4th, 2026, Americans all across the world will celebrate the founding of our nation all those years ago.
The Melbourne Liberty Bell Museum is excited to take part in the festivities for the 250th (semiquincentennial) anniversary of the founding of the United States of America. Events are being promoted to take place all across Brevard in the months of celebration leading up to Independence Day on July 4, 2026. This will be kicked off with a “Proclaim Liberty” Birthday Party to be held in January of 2026. More details will be announced as the event comes closer.
